Sweet and Tangy Top Round Steak

Serves 4
Sure to tickle your taste buds.
Ingredients:
2 beef top round steaks |
4 tablespoons brown sugar |
1/2 cup fresh lime juice |
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce |
3 cloves garlic, minced |
3 tablespoons vegetable oil |
Salt, to taste |
Ground black pepper, to taste |
Directions:
- Combine brown sugar, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic and vegetable oil in a mixing bowl.
- Place steaks in a resealable bag. Pour brown sugar mixture into the bag. Close bag securely, turn to coat steaks and place in the refrigerator for 8 hours to marinate, turning occasionally.
- Remove steak from marinade. Discard the marinade.
- Heat a grill pan to medium-high heat. Place the steaks on a grill pan and cook for 8-10 minutes for medium rare.
- Transfer steaks to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Season with salt and pepper and enjoy.
