Simple Shortbread Cookies

Serves 24
Perfectly sweet and simple to make.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 sticks butter |
1/2 cup powdered sugar |
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Combine brown sugar, flour, vanilla extract, butter and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix until ingredients are smooth.
- Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Spoon cookie dough on cookie sheets, spacing evenly. Place into oven to bake for 13-15 minutes, until lightly browned.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
