Slow Cooker Teriyaki Short Ribs

Serves 6

Gourmet ribs with a sweet and tangy twist.

Ingredients:

2 lb beef short ribs, separated
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste
1 1/2 cups teriyaki sauce
1 sweet onion, chopped
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Chopped green onion, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Liberally short ribs on all sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the short ribs in the slow cooker. Pour teriyaki sauce over the ribs and add the chopped onion. Place the lid on and cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 6 hours.
  3. Remove short ribs and transfer to a platter. Top short ribs with sesame seeds and chopped green.
