Double Cheddar Burger





Serves 6
Extra cheesy means extra delicious!
Ingredients:
2 lb lean ground beef |
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
1 packet dry onion soup mix, 2 oz. |
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning |
6 slices sharp cheddar cheese, for topping |
6 slices smoked cheddar cheese, for topping |
6 buns, toasted |
Directions:
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, shredded cheddar, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, and Montreal steak seasoning. Mix together well and shape into 6 burger patties.
- Place the burgers on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes per side.
- Turn the grill off and place a slice of sharp and smoked cheddar on each burger. Close the lid and let the burgers rest for a few minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
- Place the burger patties on the toasted buns and enjoy!
