Chicken Juicy Lucy Burger

Serves 4

A yummy twist on the classic burger.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 1/2 lb ground chicken
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
4 slices cheddar cheese
4 hamburger buns

Directions:

  1. Heat a skillet to medium heat.
  2. In a large bowl mix together salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Add ground chicken and breadcrumbs.
  3. Form into 4 balls. Place balls on wax papered surface and press down into patties.
  4. Cut each slice of cheese into quarters. Arrange cheese in the center of four patties.
  5. Place the remaining four patties on top of each cheese filled patty. Lightly press down and seal edges shut.
  6. Cook patties in the skillet for 8-10 minutes per side.
  7. Transfer patties to the hamburger buns and enjoy!
