Cheddar Bacon Hash Browns

Serves 4

Perfectly crispy and savory.

Ingredients:

1 lb shredded hash browns
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 sweet onion, finely diced
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
Hot sauce, optional

Directions:

  1. Combine hash browns, bacon, cheddar cheese and diced onion in bowl Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Preheat large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter and olive oil to the skillet, heat until hot and foamy. Spread hash browns out evenly in skillet and cook until golden brown.
  3. Flip hash browns and cook until golden brown.
  4. Transfer hash browns to serving plates. Shake a few drops of hot sauce on to taste.
