Hot Turkey and Cheese Sandwich

Serves 4
Like a grilled cheese but tastier.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoon minced red onion |
4 tablespoons sour cream |
4 tablespoons Dijon mustard |
1 teaspoon dried thyme |
4 tablespoons butter |
8 slices sourdough bread |
8 slices deli turkey |
4 slices tomato |
4 slices cheddar cheese |
Directions:
- Combine minced onion, sour cream, mustard and thyme in a mixing bowl.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Evenly spread mustard mixture over the unbuttered side of 4 slices. Top with 2 slices of turkey, 1 tomato slice and 1 slice of cheddar cheese. Place remaining slices on top, with the butter side up.
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add one sandwich. Cook for about 3 minutes per side, until golden brown. Repeat with remaining sandwiches and enjoy!
