Cooler Cooked Corn on the Cob





Serves 12
Skip the stove and cook your corn in your ice cooler!
Ingredients:
12 ears corn, husked and cleaned |
Water, amount varies depending on size of cooler |
Directions:
- Thoroughly clean your cooler with warm soapy water. Rinse away soap very well.
- Depending on the size of your cooler, you need about 2 quarts of water for a small cooler and around 10 quarts for large cooler. After you know the amount you need, bring water to a full boil.
- Place ears of corn in the bottom of your cooler. Pour boiling water over corn and close lid. Leave undisturbed for 30 minutes.
- Remove corn from cooler with tongs. Serve with salt and butter and enjoy!
