Homemade Potato Dinner Rolls

Deliciously easy and tasty.
Ingredients:
1/2 stick butter |
2 1/2 teaspoons instant yeast |
1/2 cup mashed potatoes |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1 egg, lightly beaten |
4 1/2 cups flour |
1 1/4 cups warm milk |
Cooking spray |
Directions:
- Combine yeast and 2 cups flour in a standing mixer. Add butter, salt, sugar and milk to flour. Mix on low speed. Once dough begins to form, add mashed potatoes and egg to dough. Mix together until combined. Add 2 cups flour to dough and increase speed to medium. Begin to knead dough once sticky. Sprinkle on a tablespoon of flour at a time while kneading dough, until dough doesn�¢??t stick to bowl.
- Shape dough into a ball. Grease a separate bowl, then place dough inside and cover. Let dough rise for 1 hour.
- Flour a working surface and flatten dough ball. Cut in half and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Divide dough into 24 equal size pieces. Roll each into a tight dough ball. Then stretch out and tuck ends underneath.
- Arrange dough pieces on a greased baking sheet. Let sit for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Place baking sheet in oven and bake for 20-22 minutes. {Biscuits should be golden brown)
- Remove from oven and let cool before serving.
