Hot Honey Garlic Bread Pizza

Serves 4

Excellent as an appetizer or main course.

Ingredients:

1 loaf garlic bread
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup hot honey
Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Bake the bread according to the package instructions. Remove from the oven. Set aside.
  3. Stir the garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, olive oil, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl. Spread the mixture over the top of the garlic bread.
  4. Crumble the ricotta cheese over the garlic bread. Then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the ricotta.
  5. Return the garlic bread pizza to the oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly.
  6. Remove the garlic bread pizza from the oven. Drizzle the hot honey over the top. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
