Pan-Seared Honey-Garlic Pork Chops

Ingredients:
4 boneless pork chops
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons avocado oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup water
Directions:
Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper. Let rest for 15-20 minutes.
Drizzle the avocado oil in a large skillet. Bring to medium-high heat. Add the pork chops, and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown. Transfer the pork chops to a plate.
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the garlic and saute for about 30 seconds. Stir in the soy sauce, lemon juice, and honey. Cook and stir for 1 minute. Then pour in the water. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened.
Place the pork chops in the skillet. Spoon the sauce over top. Cook for 2 minutes.
Transfer the pork chops to serving plates. Spoon any remaining sauce over top. Enjoy!
