Cajun Corn

Bold, zesty, spicy and smoky.

Ingredients:

6 ears corn, husked and cleaned
Oil spray
6 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried parsley
3/4 teaspoon dried thyme

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425° F.
  2. Cut each ear of corn into three pieces.
  3. Arrange the corn on a baking sheet. Lightly spray with oil.
  4. Place into the oven and bake for 20 minutes, flip the corn after 10 minutes.
  5. Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl, about 10-15 seconds.
  6. Add the salt, paprika, brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne pepper, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, and thyme to the melted butter. Stir together until well combined.
  7. Place a few pieces of corn in the Cajun butter. Coat well. Transfer the corn to a platter. Repeat with the remaining corn. Then brush any remaining Cajun butter over the corn. Enjoy!
