Marinated Grilled Chicken Breasts

Serves 4

A healthy grilling recipe that’s incredibly easy.

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon dried thyme
6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, (more for pan)
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 cloves garlic, (minced)
1 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
1 1/4 teaspoon salt
4 chicken breasts
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Directions:

  1. Line kitchen counter with wax paper, arrange chicken on wax paper.
  2. Combine thyme, olive oil, pepper, garlic, lemon zest, salt and oregano in a large re-sealable bag.
  3. Add chicken to bag, toss and coat evenly. Close bag and let marinate for 4-12 hours.
  4. Pour small amount of olive oil in pan. Heat to medium-high.
  5. Arrange chicken in pan, cover and cook 2-3 minutes per side.
