Thai-Style Chicken Thighs

Serves 4
Sweet, tangy and utterly delicious!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup fish sauce |
2 tablespoons canola oil |
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice |
1 tablespoon lime zest |
1/4 cup chopped Thai basil |
1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro |
2 green onions, thinly sliced |
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt |
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger |
8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs |
Directions:
- Combine the fish sauce, lime juice, lime zest, Thai basil, cilantro, green onions, dark brown sugar, Kosher salt, black pepper and grated ginger in a mixing bowl. Stir together until well combined.
- Place chicken thighs in a sealable container. Pour the marinade over top. Place the lid on top and coat chicken thighs in the marinade. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for 2 hours.
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken thighs from container and discard marinade.
- Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes per side, until cooked through.
- Transfer to serving plates and enjoy!
