Boil potatoes and whole garlic cloves until tender. Drain water. Add butter, shredded cheese and milk, and 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper. Mash until very creamy. Set aside.
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Grease casserole dish with cooking spray. Place corn into bottom of casserole dish, pour melted butter over corn and place dill on top. Season with salt and pepper. Add cooked sausage and a layer of garlic mashed potatoes and cheese over sausage. Sprinkle with pepper and parsley.
Cover with aluminum foil and place in oven, bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

8 red skinned potatoes, diced
3 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon sea salt, more to taste
1 teaspoon pepper, more to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 lb spicy sausage, cooked
1 package frozen corn, 32 oz.
